This service safely combines the powers of chemical and physical exfoliants, and product infusion. Experience our advanced dermaplane special that includes a fruit based enzyme peel, nanoneedling (optional), and LED therapy. This dermplaning protocol is a more advanced version of our level I dermaplaning service. Also, more effective at treating hyperpigmentation and increasing skin cell turnover! After a thorough cleansing of the skin, your esthetician will use a steady, precise hand, and gently remove the horny (outermost) layer of the skin. By doing so, your complexion will look more radiant, and products will easy absorb, making them more effective. The next step is the enzymatic peel, which will further exfoliate, deliver anti aging and hyperpigmentation inhibiting ingredients into the skin, and encourage cellular turnover. Nanoneedling is achieved by your esthetician using an oscillating, pen-like device with needles on the head (tip). The head of this device is called a nanochip, and one time use. The needles are thinner than the diameter of human hair, and are .15 mm in length. They create painless, microscopic channels in the skin, allowing rich serums to penetrate the skin. Although this procedure is 100% cosmetic and NOT medical, it is highly effective, especially with a consistent regimen at home. You may add on this service during booking. Through research, NASA has successfully discovered that the visible light spectrum has healing effects on the skin. LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is a scientifically proven, non invasive treatment that utilized LED light in treating various skin concerns and skin types. Ideal candidates may display dry, normal, oily and combination skin types. Please do not book this service if you have sensitive skin, major acne breakout, unhealed sunburn, or any other active inflammatory condition. There is a major misconception that shaving the face will make the hair grow back thicker. This is absolutely incorrect. Hair density is determined by genetics and other medical factors. There is no downtime after this service! However, it is highly recommended to not participate in outdoor activities for 24 hours, and to follow the aftercare recommendations. This facial also includes extractions, soothing cryo-massage, moisturizer/SPF, and complimentary aftercare. Oh! We cannot forget the sunscreen!
